PEF Teacher Residency:
Project Inspire is a paid, full year teacher residency designed to prepare college graduates to become confident, classroom ready teachers in one year. This is a licensure focused training pathway, not a traditional teaching job.
We are seeking service minded graduates who want to make a meaningful impact while building a long term career in education. Residents receive intensive coaching, real classroom responsibility, and a clear path to becoming a teacher of record.
What You’ll Do- Complete a full year residency in a K–12 classroom alongside a highly effective mentor teacher
- Co-teach at the beginning of the year and gradually transition into the lead teacher role
- Develop school-level leadership skills during the spring semester, preparing for future leadership opportunities within schools
- Complete required coursework leading to teaching licensure within one year
- Participate in cohort based professional learning, community, and support
By the end of the residency year, participants leave with real classroom leadership experience and clear evidence of student growth, leaving 95% of graduates feeling more prepared than the traditional first year teacher.
