The Howard School is a 9-12 school located in Chattanooga, TN. • Plan, deliver, and assess effective instruction aligned to Tennessee state standards
• Design engaging lessons with clear objectives and measurable outcomes
• Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of all learners
• Collaborate regularly with colleagues and support staff
• Build strong, respectful relationships with students and families
• Create a well‑managed, structured classroom environment
• Participate in ongoing professional development and reflection

• Positive, student‑focused educators with strong content and classroom management skills
• Strong communication, collaboration, and problem‑solving abilities
• Committed to high expectations and academic achievement for all students
• Open to feedback, coaching, and continuous growth
• Experience in Title I or high-need school settings is a plus
• Passion for supporting the whole child academically and socially

• Bachelor's degree required
• Valid Tennessee teaching license in 6-12 Social Studies or current enrollment in an accredited teacher preparation program

• Salary Scale based on education and experience – starting at $50,000.00
• Eligible positions may qualify for additional pay under the Differentiated Compensation Plan
