Exciting opportunity available for a dedicated school psychologist to work with a dynamic elementary student population (K-5) in a contract role now through May 2026. Enjoy a full-time schedule of 37.5 hours per week, providing critical support across a welcoming school community. The position involves collaborating with students, families, and school staff to enhance educational access and well-being.

In this role, you'll conduct psycho educational evaluations, participate in Admission, Review, and Dismissal (ARD) meetings, develop and maintain Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), and create effective behavior intervention plans. Your expertise will help guide academic and behavioral interventions, making a direct and positive difference for young learners. Some minor travel between nearby schools may be required, offering variety in your week.

Key

Qualifications:
  • Master's degree or higher in School Psychology or related field
  • State certification/licensure as a School Psychologist
  • Previous experience supporting K-5 or elementary caseloads is highly desirable
  • Proficiency with evaluations, ARDs, IEPs, and development of behavior plans
  • Strong organization, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Commitment to fostering a positive, inclusive learning environment
  • Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and navigate multiple school sites as needed
Primary Responsibilities:
  • Conduct assessments and provide comprehensive psycho educational evaluations
  • Develop, implement, and monitor effective IEPs and behavior plans
  • Facilitate and actively participate in ARD meetings
  • Consult with teachers, administrators, and families regarding student needs
  • Support students' social, emotional, and academic growth
  • Accurately maintain documentation and meet program deadlines
