Do you know what it is like to explore a new career field? Have you ever mentored a junior co-worker or helped lead a team on a new project? Are you interested in helping young adults get the skills, training, and support they need to move from education into a thriving career? Chattanooga 2.0 is looking for someone who is excited about giving youth opportunities to succeed economically and personally by guiding them to and through innovative career pathways.

Chattanooga 2.0 is leading the Viable Pathways to Prosperity initiative to connect the youth of Hamilton County–Chattanooga to thriving wage jobs that are in high-demand in our community. Chattanooga 2.0 aims to build ten viable career pathways by the end of 2027 for students and young adults that track from upper elementary grades through high school to postsecondary training to job interview and career opportunity. Each pathway will have engaged business/employment partners and lead to a thriving wage career with defined links to career advancement. The current Viable Pathways that are active and under development lead to careers in the following jobs:
Lineworking, Data Analysis, Welding, Dental Hygiene, Cybersecurity, Nursing, Electrician, K-12 Teacher, Plumbing, and Accounting.
