Teacher Assistant - Afternoons
Looking for a steady, part-time job in the afternoons? Want something meaningful—not just another shift? Join our team at Volunteer Community School and help care for children from infants to Pre-K during the end of their day.
Location:
506 Spears Avenue, Chattanooga
Schedule:
Monday–Friday, 2:30 PM – 5:30 PM
Pay:
From $11/hour; higher with experience/education
What You'll Do
- Supervise and play with children
- Help keep classrooms safe, clean, and organized
- Support teachers and step in where needed
- Help children finish their day in a calm, positive way
What We Need
- 18+ years old with a high school diploma or equivalent
- Able to pass a fingerprint background check
- Reliable, friendly, patient, and good with kids
