Elementary School Teacher

The Elementary School Teacher is a full-time, on-site role located in Chattanooga, TN. This role involves planning and delivering engaging, standards-based lessons for elementary students, adapting instruction to meet diverse learning needs. The teacher will manage the classroom environment, assess student progress, provide feedback, and maintain accurate records of academic performance. Responsibilities include collaborating with colleagues on curriculum and school initiatives, communicating regularly with families or guardians, and participating in faculty meetings, professional development, and school events.

The teacher will also support students' social-emotional development and uphold school policies and values.

• Strong teaching and elementary education skills, with experience supporting diverse or nontraditional learners.
• Curriculum development and education planning skills, including the ability to design differentiated, standards-aligned lessons.
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with students, families, and colleagues professionally and collaboratively.
• Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education or a related field; teaching license or certification preferred.
• Experience in K-6 classroom instruction, meeting the needs of students with learning differences and providing a multimodal instructional approach.
• Ability to use educational technology and learning tools to enhance instruction and track student progress.
• Commitment to inclusive, student-centered teaching and ongoing professional growth.
