Hamilton County Schools is seeking qualified and student-centered School Psychologists to join the district for the 2026–2027 school year. These positions provide comprehensive psychological services supporting students’ academic, behavioral, and social-emotional success across the district.

Position Details

• Full-time position – 35 hours per week
• Multiple openings available (5 positions)
• School assignments vary based on district needs

• End Date:
  May 19, 2027

Caseload Information

• Caseloads and age groups will vary depending on assignment
• Additional caseload details are forthcoming as the district finalizes staffing and student numbers for the upcoming school year

Responsibilities

• Conduct psycho educational evaluations and assessments
• Participate in eligibility, IEP, and multidisciplinary team meetings
• Collaborate with educators, administrators, families, and related service providers
• Support students’ academic, behavioral, and social-emotional needs
• Assist with intervention planning, behavioral supports, and progress monitoring
• Maintain compliant documentation and evaluation timelines
• Provide consultation and recommendations to support student success across educational settings

Hybrid Flexibility

• The district may consider a 4/1 hybrid schedule for candidates with a valid reason and the qualifications necessary to effectively support students within a hybrid model

Requirements

• Active DOE Certification required
• Previous school-based experience preferred
• Strong assessment, communication, and collaboration skills

Credentialing Requirements

• Fingerprints required prior to start
