We’re hiring an Applications Engineer to support customer solutions in a pre‑sales technical role. You’ll work closely with Sales and customers to evaluate applications, develop automation solutions, and help move opportunities from quote to order.
This is a customer‑facing engineering role focused on solving problems — not product pushing.
What You’ll Do:- Engage customers as a pre‑sales technical resource
- Review applications and develop solution approaches
- Support quoting and technical scope development
- Partner with Sales to prioritize and advance opportunities
- Influence technical decisions through solution expertise
- BS in Electrical, Controls, or Mechanical Engineering
- 5+ years in automation, integration, or industrial equipment
- OEM or end‑user automation experience
- Strong customer‑facing and problem‑solving skills
- Self‑directed and collaborative
- Regional travel with occasional overnight stays
