Civil​/Structural Nuclear Engineer

This role serves as a technical specialist or lead engineer, applying advanced engineering methods with minimal supervision. Responsibilities include producing complex engineering deliverables, guiding junior team members, and contributing to technical strategy and project execution.

• Apply and expand expertise in engineering codes, standards, design guides, and quality processes.
• Produce and review complex engineering calculations, designs, specifications, and technical documents.
• Lead or coordinate engineering tasks, delegate work, and mentor junior staff.
• Manage assigned scope, schedule, budget, and quality requirements.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders on moderately complex projects.
• Support client communication, technical problem‑solving, and business development efforts.
• Serve as a subject matter specialist and provide guidance on complex engineering challenges.
• Participate in talent development, performance management, and resource planning.

• Significant experience with steel and reinforced concrete design in nuclear facilities.
• Experience developing specifications, scopes of work, and nuclear document verification.

• Bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited institution.
• 5+ years of relevant engineering experience.
• Ability to meet pre‑employment screening requirements.
• Active professional engineering license for Engineer‑of‑Record responsibilities.
