This is a full‑time, on‑site Structural Steel Estimator role located in Cleveland, Tennessee. The Structural Steel Estimator will be responsible for reviewing project specifications, blueprints, and other documentation to generate accurate cost estimates. Key responsibilities include analyzing material, labor, and time requirements, preparing cost comparisons, and collaborating with various departments to ensure project efficiency. The role also involves staying updated on market trends, maintaining relationships with vendors, and providing accurate estimates to meet project timelines and budget goals.
Qualifications- Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, technical drawings, and construction specifications
- Strong knowledge in cost estimation, quantity takeoffs, and project budgeting
- Experience with estimation software and 2D/3D design tools (e.g., Autodesk Inventor) is preferred
- Background in structural steel fabrication and welding processes
- Attention to detail and accuracy in calculating material and labor costs
- Effective communication and collaboration skills for vendor relationships and team interaction
- Ability to work on‑site in Cleveland, Tennessee, and adaptability to dynamic workflow requirements
- Relevant educational background or equivalent professional experience in construction, engineering, or related field
