Position SummaryBlue Line Solutions is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Business Process Engineer to support organizational scalability through documentation, process standardization, and continuous improvement initiatives. This role bridges Engineering, Product Management, Production, Operations, and Customer Support to create clear, repeatable workflows that drive consistency, quality, and operational excellence. The Business Process Engineer will play a key role in strengthening root cause analysis, corrective action implementation, and documentation discipline across departments as the company continues to grow.
Key Responsibilities Process Development & Documentation- Create, standardize, and maintain cross-functional work instructions, SOPs, and process documentation supporting new and existing product lines.
- Translate prototype development and engineering concepts into scalable production and operational processes.
- Develop and maintain process maps, workflow diagrams, training materials, and knowledge repositories.
- Ensure documentation is version-controlled, clearly written, and aligned across departments.
- Coordinate periodic process reviews to ensure documentation reflects actual workflows and evolving practices.
- Partner with product managers and department leaders to align process execution with strategic business goals.
- Identify operational inefficiencies and implement improvements using Lean, Six Sigma, or structured problem-solving methodologies.
- Conduct root cause analysis and support corrective/preventative action planning.
- Establish performance metrics and feedback loops to measure process effectiveness.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives that reduce errors, increase quality, and improve throughput.
- Work closely with Engineering, Production, Field Operations, Agency Operations, and Customer Support to ensure smooth transitions from design to manufacturing and deployment.
- Collaborate with Customer Success and Operations to ensure post-launch processes maintain product reliability and customer satisfaction.
- Lead process training sessions and knowledge transfer efforts to ensure adoption and organizational consistency.
- Support change management efforts through risk logs, issue tracking, decision documentation, and action item management.
- Support preparation and maintenance of documentation for SOC, ISO, and other regulatory or customer compliance audits.
- Ensure processes meet internal quality standards and external compliance requirements.
- Assist with quality reporting, corrective action documentation, and audit readiness.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Business, Operations, or related field required.
- Master’s degree preferred.
- 3–5 years of experience in process engineering, operations improvement, manufacturing systems, or related roles.
- Experience in technology, manufacturing, hardware production, or regulated environments preferred.
