Environmental Scientist job at LaBella Associates. Chattanooga, TN.
We are currently hiring an entry level Environmental Scientist/Geologist/Engineer in our Environmental division at our Chattanooga, TN office. The Environmental Scientist/Geologist/Engineer will support ecological projects, such as wetland and stream delineations, Tennessee Hydrological Determinations, threatened and endangered species review, and Section 401/404 Permitting. Manager. A successful candidate will be able to perform various tasks including field work, reporting writing, and support project managers on various projects.
Duties
- Assist with wetland/stream delineations and habitat assessments
- Assist with Tennessee Hydrological Determinations
- Technical report writing and section 401/404 permitting.
- 0-5 Years of experience required /preferred
- BS in Environmental Science, Engineering. or Geology preferred
- MS Office Suite
- Strong communication skills
- GIS experience a plus
