Job Overview
As a facilities professional at Booz Allen, you will use client engagement expertise to impact projects that modernize the nation’s ability to conduct hypersonic ground tests and evaluations. You will oversee complex projects that advance the nation’s war fighting capabilities and support critical defense missions.
Core Responsibilities- Provide Construction Management support for a $500M program of repair, renovation, space alteration, and building improvement projects.
- Support design reviews, design kick‑off meetings, and other design meetings to ensure accuracy, constructability, and compliance with federal standards.
- Coordinate all phases between user, plant resources, outside vendors, and contractors, ensuring projects are delivered economically and timely.
- Support the construction phase with record keeping, documentation, progress reporting, budget cost accounting, scheduling, submittals review, payment reviews, safety, inspections, testing, requests for information, contract modifications, claims, progress photographs, final inspection, substantial completion, settlement, meetings, and commissioning oversight.
- Conduct follow‑up on cost, budgets, job control, materials, tools, and related items related to projects.
- 3+ years managing design and construction projects, horizontal and vertical.
- Experience on federal design and construction projects, including the Department of Defense.
- Knowledge of architectural, structural, civil, mechanical, electrical, fire alarm or sprinkler, control system, and space renovations.
- Knowledge of national, state, and local laws and codes.
- Ability to manage multiple complex projects, including multi‑phase projects in design and construction.
- Ability to work with contractors, tenants, and government agencies to resolve issues and deliver excellent customer service.
- Ability to collaborate with stakeholders and drive consensus on facility projects in various stages of maturity.
- Ability to deliver projects on time and within budget.
- Ability to obtain a Secret clearance.
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, or Construction Management.
- Experience with the construction of hypersonic facilities, research facilities, or other highly complex types.
- Experience developing facility project cost estimates using RS MEANS data and tools.
- Experience using computer‑aided facility management tools for managing facility work.
- Knowledge of Hypersonic Test Facility Accreditation requirements.
- Certified Construction Manager (CCM) certification.

CompensationThe projected compensation range for this position is $61,900.00 to $ (annualized USD). Salary is determined by location, education, experience, and organizational requirements.
