We are currently searching for an experienced Bridge EIT to support our Gulf Region located in Brentwood/Nashville, Knoxville, Chattanooga, or Memphis, TN
. Candidates must be willing to relocate to Tennessee if out of state.
- Collects and analyzes data for inclusion in project plans and reports
- Assists and prepares project plans using Open Roads Designer
- Contributes to the preparation and/or modification of engineering reports and calculations for a wide variety of projects
- Prepares and assists in the preparation of project construction quantities and cost estimates
- Prepare and assist in the preparation of project specifications
- Review project quantity estimates, details, and check calculations and drawings for compliance with project requirements
- Prepare and assist in the preparation of project schedules
- Performs other duties as assigned
- BS in Civil Engineering
- EIT (E.I) Certification is desired but not required
- 2 - 4 years of experience
- Experience with Open Roads Designer is preferred
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening to ensure a safe and productive work environment. Volkert adheres to federal guidelines, which may include testing for substances such as marijuana. Please note that federal regulations may differ from state-specific guidelines
- Valid driver's license
- A satisfactory motor vehicle report (MVR)
