Substation Physical (Outdoor) Engineering Associate II

Design and/or check deliverables associated with high voltage substation design projects. Responsibilities include completing assignments within budget and schedule, working under the direction of a Substation Physical (Outdoor) Engineering Group Lead, utilizing AutoCAD-based physical design standards, preparing technical deliverables and project documents, and ensuring deliverables comply with IEEE and/or client standards and meet applicable design requirements.

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (ABET Accredited) or related field.
• 2–4 years of experience in the design of substation physical design deliverables.
• Proficiency in verbal and written communication.
• Proficiency with 2‑D layout designs.

• Expertise utilizing AutoCAD and/or Inventor.
• Knowledge of power systems or substation design.
• Interest in learning and using the latest Autodesk software tools, methods, and technologies to develop power substation designs.
• Proficiency with 3‑D layout designs.

This is a fully remote position located in the Southeast region of the United States.
