Role will be hybrid 2 days a week after initial training period. No/limited travel anticipated.
Help drive packaging development of innovation projects for North America. Scope is design, specification, testing, and qualification of packaging structures for topical, solid oral dose, liquid oral dose, and spray format drug products. Involves pack systems such as bottles/closures, tubes, dispensers, aerosols, CRC, blisters & pouches, spray systems, etc. Requires partnership with Formulations, Analytical Stability, Engineering, Procurement, Supply Planning, and Marketing.
ExpertiseRequired
- Mid-level (5-10 years) experience in R&D at B2C or B2B.
- Technical background in primary packaging development and design across array of packaging formats including specification, testing, tooling/molding process, materials, and manufacturing qualification. Secondary packaging experience a plus.
- Industry background can be any of the following: healthcare, personal care, beauty, food, chemicals.
Product Development Center in Chattanooga (technical execution focus; support and collaboration with teams in Chattanooga including Manufacturing).
EducationBachelor's Degree
Work EnvironmentMin 2 Days per week in office, hybrid arrangement after initial training period.
