We are seeking an experienced Site Paint Manager to lead paint engineering and process development activities within a high-volume manufacturing environment. This role will be responsible for driving paint process innovation, overseeing equipment and technology implementation, and ensuring operational excellence across new and existing programs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and implementation of paint process strategies for new manufacturing programs.
  • Manage paint process and equipment development activities, partnering with engineering and operations teams to ensure successful project execution.
  • Oversee the launch, optimization, and continuous improvement of paint systems and related manufacturing technologies.
  • Ensure all paint-related equipment and processes meet established quality, cost, performance, and timing targets.
  • Evaluate and recommend emerging technologies to enhance paint quality, manufacturing efficiency, and operational competitiveness.
  • Establish and maintain standardized engineering practices, procedures, and process controls across the facility.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, productivity, quality, and cost reduction.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Plastics Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in paint engineering, paint operations, or process development within an automotive manufacturing environment.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience, including managing technical teams and cross-functional projects.
  • Strong knowledge of paint chemistry, coating technologies, and paint application processes, particularly for plastic components.
  • Experience leading advanced engineering, product development, or manufacturing launch projects.
  • Proven ability to drive process improvements and implement new technologies.
  • Strong project management, problem-solving, and communication skills.
