Insight Global is seeking a Mechanical Engineer III for a top industrial equipment manufacturing client. This candidate will join a collaborative engineering team focused on designing, developing, and improving highly engineered equipment used by utility and infrastructure customers. The ideal candidate will bring strong product development experience, a hands-on engineering mindset, and the ability to contribute immediately on complex mechanical and hydraulic systems.

This role offers the opportunity to own projects from concept through production, partner closely with cross-functional stakeholders, participate in prototype builds and testing, and make a direct impact on innovative products within a growing manufacturing environment. Candidates with backgrounds in heavy equipment, agricultural machinery, mobile equipment, or related industries are highly encouraged to apply. -Design and develop new products, custom equipment, and product enhancements

-Create 3D models, engineering drawings, calculations, and technical documentation

-Perform engineering analysis including FEA and simulation validation

-Participate in prototype builds, testing, troubleshooting, and validation activities

-Work directly with manufacturing and operations teams to ensure designs are practical, manufacturable, and cost-effective

-Support product launches and transition designs into production

-Conduct field visits and gather Voice of the Customer (VOC) feedback to support product development

-Manage engineering project timelines, deliverables, and priorities

-Provide sustaining engineering support for existing products and continuous improvement initiatives

-Collaborate cross-functionally to solve technical and operational challenges
