Job Overview
A law firm seeks a Tax Credit Senior Counsel in Chattanooga, TN. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in tax credit finance and development, particularly in real estate finance and New Markets Tax Credits.
Duties- Advise clients on tax credit finance and development matters.
- Collaborate with teams on real estate finance projects.
- Provide strategic counsel on New Markets Tax Credits.
- Ensure compliance with relevant tax laws and regulations.
- Minimum of eight years of tax credit experience.
- Active bar license in the relevant state or commitment to obtain one.
- Preference for candidates located in St. Louis.
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Active bar membership in good standing.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
