Job Overview
A law firm seeks a Tax Credit Associate in Chattanooga, TN. The ideal candidate will have at least four years of tax credit experience, with a focus on real estate finance and New Markets Tax Credits. Candidates in St.Louis are strongly preferred, but consideration will be given to those in Chattanooga, including virtual office options.
Duties- Advise clients on tax credit finance and development matters.
- Collaborate with teams on real estate finance projects.
- Manage New Markets Tax Credits transactions.
- Ensure compliance with relevant tax laws and regulations.
- Minimum of four years of tax credit experience.
- Experience with real estate finance and New Markets Tax Credits.
- Active bar license in the relevant state or commitment to obtain one.
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Active bar membership in good standing.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Proactive and entrepreneurial mindset.
