The primary duties of the Financial Analyst will include handling ad hoc financial analysis, journal entries, monthly reconciliations, fixed asset review and tracking, and month- and year-end close responsibilities and review. The Financial Analyst will also be responsible for supporting operations, maintaining information in Sage, and assisting with analysis and reporting across our various businesses.
EducationRequired:
B.S. in Accounting, Finance or related field
Preferred:
Similar industry and Sage experience is a plus.
Specialized skills/license/certification
Required:
Advanced computing skills, analytical thinking skills, ability to communicate well with others. Ability to work onsite daily.
Preferred: CPA certification is a plus
Core competencies (Essential job functions)- Complete monthly accounting journal entries
- Ad hoc financial analysis for operations and Management
- Month- and year-end reconciliations and close responsibilities
- Month-end reporting to Management
- Maintain accounting information in Sage
- Work with team members in a continually learning environment
