EMPLOYEES IN THIS POSITION OBSERVE THE DRUG SCREENING PROCESS FOR MALE INDIVIDUALS.
Hamilton County follows the Federal Work‑place Drug Testing Guidelines. Section 8.1(b) of the Federal Work‑place Drug Testing Guidelines requires that the gender of the observer match the donor's gender and the gender of the monitor matches the donor's gender unless the monitor is a medical professional as described in Section 8.12.
Under general supervision, performs a variety of administrative and casework duties in support of the Recovery Court Program, including monitoring non‑compliant behaviors and supervising compliance with conditions of the program, testify in court.

Must attend all Recovery Court Training and obtain any certifications required.
Prior to operating a County‑owned vehicle, all employees are required to complete the HC Defensive Driving course and/or an Emergency Vehicle Operations Course (EVOC) provided at the department level.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTSWork requires managing multiple tasks in a fast‑paced environment including extensive computer data entry and processing; bending, stooping, walking and/or standing for extended periods of time, and carrying of equipment and supplies weighing up to 30 pounds. Work may also involve the potential for physical harm in dealing with defendants and potential exposure to infectious diseases.

All positions within Hamilton County Government may require work on holidays or weekends. Additionally, irregular hours and shift work may be required, including possible extension of shift hours, at times with short notice.

QUALIFICATIONS- A Bachelor’s Degree in Social Services, Public or Community Health, Family and Consumer Science, Criminal Justice, Public Administration, or a related field plus one (1) year of direct work experience in case management in a probation, law enforcement, or substance use treatment position. A valid driver’s license is required.
- An Associate’s Degree in Social Services, Public or Community Health, Family and Consumer Science, Criminal Justice, Public Administration, or a related field plus three (3) years of direct work experience in case management in a probation, law enforcement, or substance use treatment position. A valid driver’s license is required.
- The equivalent of a high school diploma and five (5) years of direct work experience in case management in a probation, law enforcement, or substance use treatment position. A valid driver’s license is required.
Exempt positions are excluded from minimum wage, overtime regulations, and other rights and protections afforded non‑exempt workers. The employee in this position is paid a salary rather than an hourly wage for this position. FLSA does not limit the amount of work time an employer may require or expect from any exempt employee, on any schedule. Hamilton County Government expects an employee in this position to complete the work assigned regardless of the number of hours involved in completing the tasks assigned.
