This opportunity includes comprehensive training and orientation at our established CHI facilities in Tennessee and Georgia.

Pay Range
$32.30 - $48.05 /hour

Responsibilities- Work with physicians, physical therapists, and others to evaluate new patients and recommend a plan of care.
- Provide treatments to patients focusing on increasing range of motion, strengthening, and maintaining balance during daily activities.
- Recommend adaptive equipment and customize it as needed.
- Perform re-evaluation assessments to update progress and status changes.
- Document all evaluations, treatments, and any changes to the treatment plan.
- Seek help when needed; provide support when others request it, including assistance with tasks, advice, mentoring, or help to obtain additional specialty certifications if you’re interested.
- Maintain a friendly and upbeat attitude to motivate patients to do their best.
- Graduate of accredited Occupational Therapist program per American Occupational Therapy Association.
- Certified under the statutes of the state of GA for Occupational Therapy. Must maintain current credential requirements.
- Georgia license required, TN state license preferred.
- Current AHA BLS.
- All modalities utilized within the therapy department. Thorough knowledge of the principles, methods, materials, and equipment used in occupational therapy for the evaluation and treatment of various patient populations in acute and outpatient settings, including awareness of potential hazards and necessary precautionary/remedial measures. May enter secured medication rooms to deliver or access supplies and equipment necessary to carry out core job functions.
