Position: Finance Assistant - Claims and Follow-up

Role Description

This is a full‑time, on‑site role located in Chattanooga, TN, for a Finance Assistant specializing in Claims and Follow‑up. The position involves tasks such as reviewing and processing insurance claims, managing claims to ensure accuracy, and conducting timely follow‑ups to address outstanding issues. Additionally, the Finance Assistant will interact professionally with insurance providers and patients to resolve claims inquiries, maintaining accurate and organized records to support efficient claim resolutions.

Qualifications
  • Proficiency in In‑Patient Claims Processing and Claims Management, including reviewing and handling insurance claims. A minimum of one year experience in In‑Patient Claims Billing
  • Knowledge of Insurance processes and practices relevant to claim resolution
  • Strong Communication and Customer Service skills for interacting effectively with insurance providers and patients
  • Attention to detail, organizational skills, and a commitment to maintaining accuracy in all tasks
  • Proficiency with relevant software tools and familiarity with claim management systems is beneficial. Excel skills are required
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or certifications in finance, accounting, or related areas are a plus
