The RN – Nurse Manager, MSN/MBA is responsible for the 24-hour operational management of a clinical department, ensuring high-quality, patient- and family-centered care.
Responsibilities- They set and monitor standards for safety, quality, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Utilize advanced nursing and management knowledge to oversee personnel development, fiscal operations, and performance improvement initiatives.
- Promote innovation, cost-effectiveness, and system improvements to enhance clinical and team performance.
- Lead and develop unit-based teams, fostering shared leadership and professional growth.
- Participate in organizational committees and improvement teams to support hospital-wide goals.
- Maintain clinical practice skills and serve as a role model, mentor, and resource for staff.
Requirements include a Bachelor's degree in Nursing (Master's preferred), RN licensure, clinical experience, supervisory background, and relevant certifications. This role is based at Johnson City Medical Center, with a day shift, no travel or on-call duties.
