Job Summary and Responsibilities
Monday - Friday 7a-5p with call
As a Cardiovascular Technologist, you will be at the forefront of cardiac care, utilizing cutting‑edge imaging technology to directly impact life‑saving diagnostic and interventional procedures.
Every day, you will expertly perform specialized interventional diagnostic and therapeutic examinations of the heart and blood vessels under physician guidance, meticulously preparing patients, operating advanced radiologic equipment, and contributing critical data for interpretation. You'll ensure the safe, efficient operation of all equipment while maintaining mastery of our latest standards and protocols.
To be successful in this role, you will combine advanced technical proficiency in cardiovascular imaging with a meticulous eye for detail, a commitment to patient safety, and a drive for continuous learning within a dynamic and collaborative Cath Lab team.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Sterile technique
- Administration and knowledge of medications given to the patient under the supervision of the physician
- Operate physiologic monitoring equipment
- Operate all equipment related to coronary procedures (For CCL‑IABP, Impella, IVUS, FFR, rotational atherectomy, temporary pacemaker generator, ISTAT, Med Rad injector, Angiojet and manual thrombectomy)
- Management of blood samples and calculations
Required
- Technical School Graduate of an accredited radiology technology school, upon hire or
- Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist, upon hire and
- Three (3) years’ of current clinical experience
- Registered Technologist Radiography ARRT, upon hire or
- Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist, upon hire and
- Basic Life Support – CPR, upon hire and
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support, upon hire and
Preferred
- Bachelors Other in Related field, upon hire and
- Registered Cardiac Electr, upon hire
