Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and detail‑oriented Housekeeper/Inspector to join our team at Element by Westin in Chattanooga, TN. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and quality of guest rooms, performing inspections 2 to 3 times per week, and cleaning rooms on other days to ensure a comfortable and welcoming environment for our guests.

• Inspect guest rooms 2 to 3 times per week to ensure they meet Element by Westin’s quality and cleanliness standards.
• Clean guest rooms on days when inspections are not scheduled, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and sanitizing bathrooms.
• Report any maintenance issues or damages found during inspections to the appropriate department promptly.
• Ensure all cleaning supplies and equipment are used properly and maintained in good condition.
• Maintain a high level of guest service and professionalism at all times.
• Follow all hotel policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.

• Previous housekeeping experience preferred, especially in a hotel environment.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to identify cleanliness and maintenance issues.
• Good communication skills and ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods during shifts.
• Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.

The position requires inspecting rooms 2 to 3 times per week and cleaning rooms on the remaining days. Specific schedules will be provided upon hiring.
