The Hotel Valet Attendant is responsible for providing an exceptional first and last impression to guests by offering prompt, courteous, and efficient vehicle parking and retrieval. This role requires excellent customer service skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced hospitality environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Greet guests warmly upon arrival and departure, assisting with doors and luggage when necessary.
  • Safely operate, park, and retrieve guest vehicles in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Maintain accurate records of keys, vehicle locations, and ticket numbers.
  • Ensure all parked vehicles are locked, secure, and properly documented.
  • Keep the valet area clean, organized, and free of debris.
  • Communicate with the front desk and bell staff to coordinate guest arrivals and departures.
  • Handle guest questions and concerns with professionalism and hospitality.
  • Provide directions and recommendations for local attractions, restaurants, and services when requested.
  • Report any incidents, vehicle damage, or suspicious behavior immediately to management.
  • Follow all safety procedures and traffic laws on and off hotel property.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • 21 and older
  • Background check
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (required) or no infractions for last 2 years
  • Must be able to drive both manual and automatic transmission vehicles
  • Ability to run, walk, or stand for extended periods in varying weather conditions
  • Excellent verbal communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to maintain a professional appearance and demeanor at all times
  • Previous hospitality or valet experience preferred, but not required
Working Conditions
  • Frequent standing, walking, bending, and lifting up to 50 lbs
  • Must be able to work flexible hours including weekends, holidays, and evening shifts
  • Outdoor environment with exposure to weather elements
