• At least one (1) year of previous experience in hotel convention services
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays
• Knowledge of food and beverage etiquette, banquet set‑up styles, and catering service standards
• Strong interpersonal skills to assess client needs, negotiate pricing, effectively handle internal and external guest relations and provide overall guest satisfaction

• Establish rapport and build trust with clients to maintain relationships that result in repeat business
• Coordinate, organize, detail and service all meetings, functions and events according to client’s requests and needs
• Acquire thorough knowledge of meeting space capacities, menu items, AV equipment, meeting room set‑up styles and all details to finalize banquet event orders for meetings and catering events
• Upsell food and beverage products and event services to maximize profit
• Monitor in‑house group activity and provide assistance for event set up
• Attend BEO meetings to discuss details of events, set‑up requirements and client requests
