Position OverviewWe are expanding our dynamic IT team with a US‑based IT Project Manager to support the Ten Cate IT PMO function. As an IT Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing a variety of projects, collaborating with various teams, and overseeing the implementation and deployment of business transformation software throughout the Ten Cate organization.
Project responsibilities include technical onboarding of acquisition companies, local and global software implementations, and managing partners, IT staff, and end users on continuous improvement projects. In this role, you will work closely with colleagues across departments, business units, and the international IT team, while contributing to the success of Ten Cate’s newly formed IT PMO structure.
Key Responsibilities Project Management- Oversee a variety of business application projects from start to finish, including planning, coordinating teams, managing budgets, and driving progress.
- Manage implementation and deployment of enterprise software solutions across the organization.
- Support technical onboarding of newly acquired companies and integration into Ten Cate systems.
- Coordinate internal resources, external partners, IT staff, and end users throughout project life cycles.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders across business units and IT teams.
- Provide support and foster collaboration among cross‑functional teams.
- Work closely with international IT colleagues to ensure alignment on global initiatives.
- Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
- Ensure delivery of high‑quality solutions aligned with business objectives.
- Conduct post‑mortem reviews and support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Maintain project documentation and ensure adherence to project governance standards.
- Deliver updates and presentations on project status to leadership and stakeholders.
- Utilize project tools, including Azure Dev Ops, to manage workflows and documentation.
- Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies.
- Propose process improvements and contribute to adoption of best practices within the IT PMO.
- Support standardization of project management processes across entities.
- At least 5 years of proven experience as a Project Manager within the software development or IT industry.
- Experience managing Microsoft Business Central, Salesforce, and Power BI implementations or upgrades.
- Experience working within a global IT organization managing technical and business transformation projects.
- Experience using Azure Dev Ops to manage projects.
- Experience working with both Waterfall and Agile methodologies.
- Strong understanding of project governance techniques and attributes.
- Strong understanding of business consulting, change management, and IT governance concepts.
- Strong communication, collaboration, problem‑solving, and organizational skills.
- Strong writing skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple projects with competing priorities and deadlines.
- Ability to travel up to 25%.
- Familiarity with enterprise solutions, with a strong focus on the Microsoft technology stack, specifically Business Central.
- Experience supporting cross‑functional IT software initiatives across ERP, CRM, and Business Intelligence platforms.
This role is based in the United States, with a preference for candidates located in or near Chattanooga, TN
. Hybrid work arrangements may be considered based on business needs. Travel up to 25% may be required to support project implementations, team collaboration, and stakeholder engagement.
