We’re looking for a Cloud Service Engineer to join our National Project Team—someone who thrives in collaborative environments and brings deep expertise in Microsoft 365, Azure, and modern cloud management platforms like Nerdio. This role is centered around delivering secure, scalable, and high-performing cloud solutions for our clients, in coordination with project managers, technical leads, and client stakeholders. You won’t be handling reactive support tickets—you’ll be designing, configuring, and implementing modern workplace technologies that move projects forward.

Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as a technical contributor on cloud and Microsoft 365 projects, collaborating with project managers, fellow engineers, and client teams.
  • Plan, configure, and deploy Microsoft 365 services, including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, Intune, and Entra .
  • Design and implement cloud-based infrastructure solutions using Microsoft Azure, including virtual networks, storage, identity, and compute resources.
  • Leverage Nerdio Manager for Enterprise or MSP to automate and manage Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD), cost optimization, and policy enforcement.
  • Implement and manage identity & access solutions using Entra , including conditional access, MFA, and hybrid identity.
  • Configure and manage endpoint security and compliance policies using Microsoft Intune.
  • Migrate on-premises services to Microsoft 365 and Azure, and assist with hybrid environment transitions.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Microsoft 365, Azure, and Nerdio-managed environments.
  • Create or update technical documentation related to deployed cloud services and configurations.
  • Participate in internal design reviews and contribute to the continuous improvement of cloud delivery standards.
  • Accurately log time and update task statuses regularly.
Required Skills & Experience
  • 3–5 years of experience in cloud engineering, systems administration, or a similar role focused on Microsoft 365 and Azure service delivery.
  • Strong hands‑on experience with Microsoft 365 services, including:
    • Exchange Online
    • SharePoint Online
    • Microsoft Teams
    • Intune (for device and application management)
    • Entra  (identity governance and access management)
  • Experience with Microsoft Azure, including:
    • Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD)
    • Azure networking, storage, and compute
    • Azure identity and access management
  • Experience with Nerdio for managing and automating Azure environments.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft 365 security and compliance features.
  • General understanding of Windows Server and Active Directory in hybrid environments.
  • Knowledge of Google Workspace a plus.
  • Additional cloud knowledge in any cloud‑based software including migration and management assistance a plus.
  • Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects with strong time management and independent task delivery.
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills, especially in remote and client‑facing environments.
