You enjoy working with technology, computers, and data — and you don't mind spending significant time in spreadsheets. You can stay focused and accurate when reviewing and inputting large volumes of product information. Automotive interest or experience is a genuine plus, and a curiosity about how parts work will help you succeed in this role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Classify products within AAM's unique category/sub-category taxonomy and assign Series designations to product lines
  • Create PIES cataloging data and ACES application data using catalog management software
  • Define and establish AAM Standard Attributes for product categories across multiple brand lines
  • Collect assets and develop enhanced data sets for product lines requiring enrichment
  • Assign product keywords and recommend taxonomy additions or changes to improve user experience
  • Identify and resolve data discrepancies with strong attention to detail
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support catalog updates, e-commerce listings, and reporting needs
  • Utilize supplier websites, catalogs, and other resources to research and verify product information
  • Assist in process improvements and adopt new tools or systems as needed
Qualifications Required
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, formulas, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, data validation, etc.)
  • Solid computer skills and the ability to learn new software quickly
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced, data-driven environment
Preferred
  • Automotive knowledge or experience in the aftermarket industry
  • Familiarity with PIES and/or ACES data standards
  • Experience with catalog management platforms or product information management (PIM) tools
