Job Summary
The IT Services Specialist is a key member of our Information Technology team, providing essential technical support and services to our user community, including Executive staff and the C‑Suite. The role focuses on diagnosing and resolving issues, installing and configuring hardware and software, onboarding new hires, and supporting manufacturing/production environments.
Primary Responsibilities- Provide dedicated technical support to all Executive staff and the C‑Suite, ensuring prompt resolution of issues and optimal technology performance.
- Diagnose and resolve hardware and software incidents, including issues with company‑issued computers, peripherals, and network connectivity.
- Install and configure new IT hardware and software; perform routine maintenance and updates to ensure smooth operations.
- Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and connectivity problems to minimize downtime and maintain business continuity.
- Follow standard operating procedures and best practices for service desk operations; track, route, and document incident resolutions.
- Manage the technical onboarding of new hires, configuring hardware and setting up work spaces to ensure a smooth start for all new employees.
- Provide onsite and remote IT support for manufacturing and production environments, understanding the unique challenges and requirements of these settings.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 3+ years’ experience in an IT support role with demonstrable success in resolving a wide range of technical issues.
- Experience providing IT support to executive teams, with excellent communication skills and discretion.
- Strong knowledge of hardware, software, and network systems, with experience in IT Asset Management.
- Familiarity with service desk operating procedures and IT Service Management (ITSM) best practices.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks and projects in a fast‑paced environment.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with all levels of staff and management.
- Preferred certifications:
CompTIA A+, Network+, ITIL, or equivalent.
This position requires travel to Mueller sites in North Carolina, Alabama, and Georgia.
