Description

WMH Solutions seeks a Parts Specialist to support customers, technicians, and service operations by identifying, sourcing, ordering, and managing parts that keep businesses running. This position goes beyond a traditional counter role and offers a long‑term career with a leading material handling and equipment solutions provider.

When equipment is down, businesses lose productivity. Technicians cannot complete repairs and customers cannot keep operations moving. A reliable part delivered at the right time makes all the difference. As a Parts Specialist, you will play a critical role in helping customers, technicians, and service teams keep equipment operating efficiently.

Your work directly impacts customer uptime, technician productivity, equipment reliability, service performance, customer satisfaction, and operational success.

Many successful WMH team members come from automotive parts, truck parts, heavy equipment, construction, industrial supply, fleet maintenance, or equipment dealership backgrounds. If you have strong parts experience and a willingness to learn, we will help teach you the industry.

What You'll Do
  • Assist customers and technicians with parts inquiries
  • Identify correct replacement parts and equipment components
  • Prepare parts quotes and process customer orders
  • Research availability, compatibility, pricing, and sourcing options
  • Deliver responsive and professional customer service
  • Build long‑term customer relationships through reliability and support
  • Receive, stock, organize, and distribute inventory
  • Maintain accurate inventory levels and stock locations
  • Perform cycle counts and inventory audits
  • Assisting with inventory reconciliation and accuracy initiatives
  • Support shipping, receiving, and logistics activities
  • Process purchase orders and vendor documentation
  • Maintain accurate inventory and parts records within business systems
  • Coordinate with technicians, service managers, vendors, and operations personnel
  • Support service workflow and aftermarket operations
  • Look up replacement parts for technicians
  • Help customers identify the correct parts for their equipment
  • Process customer orders and quotes
  • Receive incoming inventory shipments
  • Update inventory records
  • Work with vendors to source hard‑to‑find parts
  • Support service teams with urgent parts requests
  • Maintain inventory accuracy
  • Stay organized, customer‑focused, and maintain a strong sense of urgency
What We're Looking For
  • Part counter sales, part specialist, part advisor, or part coordinator experience
  • High school diploma or GED
  • 2+ years of experience in parts, inventory, service support, warehouse operations, equipment support, or related fields
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Experience with inventory management and parts systems preferred
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and computer systems

    Strong attention to detail and follow‑through
  • Material handling equipment experience
  • Forklift industry experience
  • Heavy equipment experience
  • Automotive parts experience
  • Equipment dealership experience
  • ERP or inventory management system experience
