- Direct and coordinate day‑to‑day execution of over‑the‑road maintenance requirements and manage the trailer wreck and sale process.
- Perform process audits and improvement initiatives, ensuring compliance with Sarbanes‑Oxley regulations.
- Lead a team to achieve timely and cost‑effective repairs, adapting plans based on business needs.
- Oversee wreck process for all truck and trailer assets.
- Interpret and apply standards and requirements for each asset type.
- Coordinate with departments to streamline and mitigate issues in the wreck and sale processes.
- Make financial decisions on assets, weighing declared value against repair costs.
- Update the trailer master sale log in SharePoint.
- Maintain SOX compliance knowledge related to the trailer sale process.
- Audit wreck and sale procedures, recommending improvements to upper management.
- Measure vendor performance for asset wrecks or sales.
- Review Road Call Center issues and work orders to ensure departmental policies are followed.
- Verify data entry for consistency, accuracy, and integrity.
- Approve vendor expenses and lease/owner‑operator charges for correct billing.
- Collaborate with Fleet Operations and Asset Management to improve equipment utilization.
- Report discrepancies to upper management to support cost‑control measures.
- Recommend departmental policy improvements for processes.
- Supervise Road Maintenance Agents’ daily duties and provide day‑to‑day decision support.
- Assist in staffing and scheduling for adequate coverage.
- Evaluate agent performance, identify coaching opportunities, and address disciplinary matters.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
- May supervise a small to medium‑sized team of 5–25 agents.
Education: Associate’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience. Equivalent years of experience are defined as one year of professional experience for each year of college requested.
Experience: 3–5 years in the maintenance trucking industry or related field. Supervisory experience required.
