We're looking for an Inventory Control Specialist to own inventory integrity and traceability across ERP and shop floor systems at our Rock Island, TN facility. In this role, you'll maintain accurate, compliant, and efficient control of raw materials and finished goods in a high-volume manufacturing environment — executing cycle counts, investigating variances, managing heat/lot and Country of Origin requirements, and ensuring materials are properly received, located, and issued to support uninterrupted production.

You'll work closely with Supply Chain, Buyer/Planners, and Operations, using data analysis and continuous improvement methods to anticipate shortages, optimize inventory levels and warehouse layout, and strengthen material flow and visibility. This is an opportunity to serve as the facility's key subject matter expert for inventory accuracy, compliance, and process improvement.

• Perform regular inventory cycle counts, with sign-off required for the first six months, and maintain 98–100% inventory accuracy through cycle counts, reconciliations, and root-cause analysis of variances
• Investigate inventory inaccuracies in BPCS/AS400, tracing back to the shop order that caused them, and maintain historical records to identify recurring problem materials
• Organize inventory into defined locations, recommend more strategically sound locations to the Supply Chain & Logistics Manager, and maintain a shared Excel file of locations
