About the RoleFitz Mark is looking to add a Manager of Account Representatives to assist in the organizational management of strategic account operations within the Chattanooga branch. This role provides the opportunity to manage and develop employees within the Account Management sector of the Business Development department while driving customer relationships and revenue generation through KPI management to achieve business goals.
Duties & Responsibilities- Provide management, mentorship, and coaching to a team of strategic Account Managers
- Plan or provide backup support as needed for accounts across the Account Management team
- Manage team operations to support client relations, ensuring retention and optimal service of book of business
- Maintain and monitor consistency of communication, account functions, and data integrity within daily operational processes
- Oversee scheduling and coverage amongst team while balancing overall workloads, while working with the Business Development department
- Leverage tools and technology to manage and grow account strategy
- Participate and help prepare materials for customer meetings and business reviews with top customers as requested
- Evaluate account production and determine needs for additional support or EDI
- Act as a liaison between leadership, departments, and team members regarding performance, escalation, and strategic business direction
- Prepare, update, and ensure accurate execution of information within standard operating procedures
- Evaluate KPIs on a team and individual basis and address in monthly and quarterly meetings
- Extensive skillset in customer service and account management
- Minimum 3 years in third party transportation
- Experience in any level of mentorship or leadership
