Position SummaryThe Chief of People & Infrastructure Officer (CPIO) is a senior executive leader responsible for strengthening AIM Center’s people systems, organizational culture, compliance framework, and operational infrastructure. Reporting directly to the CEO, the CPIO ensures the organization operates with strong governance, safe and welcoming environments, and full regulatory compliance while advancing the strategic vision of the AIM Center.
This role oversees human resources, facilities and safety, technology infrastructure, clinical compliance, Medicaid/Tenn Care operations, and quality improvement initiatives. The CPI plays a vital role in ensuring AIM Center remains a thriving, values-driven workplace where staff and members experience belonging, stability, and recovery-focused care.
Key ResponsibilitiesExecutive Leadership & Culture
- Serve as a member of the Senior Leadership Team and partner with the CEO to implement the Strategic Plan.
- Foster a healthy, inclusive, trauma-informed culture aligned with Clubhouse values.
- Ensure organizational policies and practices are equitable and compliant.
- Provide executive oversight of HR functions including recruitment, retention, performance management, and staff development.
- Strengthen leadership accountability and organizational culture.
- Maintain TDMHSAS licensure and regulatory compliance.
- Chair the quarterly Compliance & Quality Improvement Committee.
- Oversee grievances, incident management, investigations, and risk mitigation.
- Ensure Title VI compliance and quality assurance processes.
- Maintain Tenn Care Provider Registration and Revalidation.
- Oversee Medicaid billing, audits, corrective actions, and claims systems.
- Manage relationships with Blue Care/BCBST, United Healthcare Community Plan, and Wellpoint.
- Oversee performance metrics and impact measurement through the Director of Data, Strategy & Impact.
- Serve as executive liaison to contracted IT partners.
- Provide executive oversight of facilities, life safety, and maintenance operations.
- Serve as Safety Officer and coordinate emergency preparedness.
- Oversee inspections, vendor relationships, and Workers’ Compensation claims.
- Support Clubhouse International Standards and recovery-oriented practices.
- Encourage member participation in employment programs (TE, SE, IE).
- Participate in staff rotation coverage, socials, holidays, special events, and assist with transportation as needed.
- Support a safe, inclusive, and culturally responsive Clubhouse environment.
- Serve as Transitional Employment Job Coach/Placement Manager as assigned.

- Bachelor’s degree required;
Master’s degree preferred in HR, Public Administration, Healthcare Administration, Organizational Leadership, or related field. - 7–10 years of progressive leadership experience with senior operational responsibility.
- Experience in behavioral health, nonprofit, healthcare, or human services strongly preferred.
- Knowledge of licensure, Medicaid/Tenn Care, compliance, and risk management is a plus.
- Commitment to recovery-oriented, person-centered systems of care.
- Valid Tennessee driver’s license and ability to obtain F-Endorsement within 14 days.
- Must have reliable transportation and proof of current automobile liability insurance.
- Must pass a background check and maintain a clean Motor Vehicle Record.
- First Aid & CPR certification (or willingness to obtain).
