Overview
We are partnering with a well established injection molding manufacturer in Chattanooga, TN that places a strong emphasis on safety, teamwork, and operational excellence. They are seeking an experienced Production Planner to support daily production scheduling and help ensure consistent, on time delivery to customers.
Responsibilities- Develop and maintain daily production schedules aligned with customer demand and available capacity
- Support OTIF performance through accurate planning, scheduling, and timely work order release
- Monitor material flow, WIP levels, and potential bottlenecks while coordinating closely with operations and purchasing
- Experience working with MRP, production scheduling, or MES systems, along with strong organizational and communication skills
- Experience with Epicor is highly preferred
- High school diploma or GED required. College degree or equivalent experience preferred
- 3+ years of experience in a high volume manufacturing environment with frequent changeovers
- Plastics manufacturing experience preferred
