Job Title

Material Handler

12 Hour Night Shifts (6:30pm-7:00am). Days worked will rotate.

The Material Handler is responsible for picking orders and loading/unloading cases of product to and from trailers and containers. The incumbent must ensure the accuracy of all orders picked, inspect cases and product for quality issues, supply the appropriate materials to assigned production areas and lines, shrink‑wrap any material to be stored or returned to the warehouse, and check pallet tickets and loads for accuracy.

• Supply materials to the line – 35%
• Remove finished goods from line – 35%
• SAP Transactions – 20%
• Forklift required checks – 10%

High School Diploma or equivalent

• Must become certified to operate a forklift and pass a mandatory forklift physical.

• Identify numerous finished products.
• Perform necessary SAP Transactions.
• Perform routine forklift checklist.
• Change forklift battery using proper PPE.
• Operate and perform hoist inspection.
• Assist in unloading raw materials/packaging materials.
• Bale plastic and cardboard and take away trash to compactor.

• Train to perform various jobs within the warehouse consistent with skill level and physical demands.

• Microsoft Office
• Outlook
• SAP

• Rarely lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ensure quality of product in all orders picked.
• Knowledge of warehouse operating procedures.
• Certified to operate a forklift.
