We’re seeking a Burn Table Operator to join our team in Chattanooga, TN. This is a great opportunity for individuals with burn table or cutting torch experience—or those eager to learn. Enjoy on-the-job training, professional development, and a fast hiring process!

Position Summary: The Burn Table Operator is responsible for the safe, accurate, and efficient operation of burn cutting machines to produce high-quality components according to production needs.

Job Details:

• Direct Hire Opportunity
• 4 Day Work Week
• Monday through Thursday is the schedule, (40-50 hours per week)
• No Rotating Shift
• First shift is from 7 am to 5:30 pm (Overtime on Fridays as needed)
• Flexible schedule, including some weekends

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate burn cutting machines per instructions and safety protocols
• Use overhead cranes and forklifts to load/unload materials
• Follow production schedules and work orders
• Identify and correct cut quality or dimensional issues
• Maintain and inspect equipment
• Keep work area clean and safe
• Report unsafe conditions or equipment malfunctions
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Ability to learn and use measuring tools (tape measure, calipers, micrometers)
• Ability to input data into machine controls

Preferred Experience:

• Prior experience operating burn tables or cutting torches
• Familiarity with part marking and removal processes
• 3–6 months experience in a manufacturing or cutting environment
• Ability to train others on burn table procedures
