Machine Operator - Extrusion Department

Automation Personnel Services is seeking several Machine Operators in the Extrusion Department for a manufacturing company in Chattanooga, TN. In this role, you will be responsible for the production, manufacturing, and quality of machinery. Positions are full-time temporary to hire.

• Day shift: $17.00
• Night shift: $17.50

• Day shift: 8:00am-8:00pm
• Night shift: 8:00pm-8:00am
• 2 days on-3 days off rotation (must be willing to work weekend rotation)

• Assist with Extrusion machines
• Run assembly station with push buttons or guiding handles
• Prepare material for removal by warehouse person
• Parts are packed into large cardboard boxes, plastic bags or placed in large wire buggies, which are removed by a warehouse employee
• Pack products according to specifications while inspecting for quality
• Accurately complete all required paperwork
• Notify supervisor of any production or quality problems immediately

• 2 years of verifiable machine operator experience
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Stand for long periods and lift 50 pounds (In-office lifting assessment required)
• Work in a high moisture situation
• Background Check and drug screen required

• $50.00 referral bonus (both employee and referral must stay on assignment for 30 days to receive payout)
