Tool Technician
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Tool Technician to join our night shift team. This role specializes in the calibration, repair, and troubleshooting of specialized manufacturing equipment, precision tools, and control systems, with a strong focus on injection molding operations. The successful candidate will play a critical role in ensuring machinery runs safely and efficiently across industrial plants, minimizing production downtime.

Tool Technician Details:
- Temp-to-Hire position
- $ 23.00 to $ 26.00 / hour
- Full Time work available
- Third Shift (Monday through Friday from 06:00pm to 06:30am)
- Perform calibration, repair, and troubleshooting of specialized manufacturing equipment, precision tools, and complex control systems.
- Conduct testing and adjustment of devices that monitor critical parameters such as pressure, temperature, and electrical load.
- Diagnose complex malfunctions in hydraulic, pneumatic, and automated systems utilizing diagnostic software and precision hand tools.
- Dismantle equipment, replace defective parts, and meticulously document all maintenance and repair activities.
- Apply expertise in injection molding processes, molded part feasibility, and tool build/design principles.
- Work with and maintain various injection molding equipment, robotics, and auxiliary systems.
- Demonstrate proficiency with diverse injection molding tool technologies including, but not limited to, RPT, Aluminum, P-20, mold max, cooling and turbulent flow, tool shot, and in-mold formed laminates.
Tool Technician
Qualifications:
- 1-3 years of proven tooling/technical experience, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
- 1-3 years of experience within the automotive industry.
- Prior experience in industrial maintenance.
- Familiarity with robotics in a manufacturing setting.
- Strong understanding and experience with plastic injection molding processes.
- Applicant may be subject to a background check
- Pre-employment drug screen (Excluding THC) is required as a condition of employment
