Production Manager - Union City, TN (Paid Relocation)
We are hiring for a Production Manager opportunity leading production operations for a manufacturer of scientific laboratory furniture, cabinetry, wood products, and metal fabrication near Union City, TN.
*** This company offers paid relocation.
- Lead and develop a team of 25+ production employees while driving accountability, quality, and performance.
- Oversee daily production operations, scheduling, and order planning to meet customer deadlines.
- Partner with Purchasing to maintain inventory and ensure material availability.
- Allocate labor and resources to maximize production efficiency.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives while maintaining a safe manufacturing environment.
- Support the Plant Manager in all operational aspects and serve as the acting Plant Manager during absences.
The ideal candidate will have 5–7 years of manufacturing leadership experience, Lean manufacturing or continuous improvement experience, and a proven ability to lead teams in a fast‑paced production environment.
