Assembler Position in Chattanooga, TN
Now hiring for an Assembler in Chattanooga, TN. Pay rate is $17.00 per hour for the 2nd shift, Monday – Friday, 1:30 PM – 10 PM. This opportunity lets you assemble quality products using hand tools, mechanical skills, and detailed work instructions while helping keep production running efficiently.
Education Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Manufacturing, automotive assembly, or production experience is a plus.
- Ability to read and follow work instructions, production specifications, and quality standards.
- Commitment to workplace safety and quality procedures.
Experience Requirements:
- 2 years of previous experience in automotive manufacturing, assembly, production, or general labor roles.
- Experience using hand tools, power tools, and basic production equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to perform quality inspections.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented manufacturing environment.
- Dependable, self-motivated, and capable of meeting productivity and quality goals.
Physical Capabilities:
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform repetitive motions throughout the workday.
- Ability to lift, move, and handle automotive bumpers and components safely.
- Manual dexterity to install clips, brackets, sensors, trim pieces, and other parts.
- Ability to work in a production environment while wearing required personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Capable of maintaining productivity and quality standards during scheduled shifts.
Job Duties:
- Assemble automotive bumpers and related components on a production line according to customer and company specifications.
- Install brackets, clips, sensors, trim pieces, and other accessories using hand tools and production equipment.
- Follow detailed work instructions, assembly procedures, and quality standards.
- Inspect completed bumpers for defects, damage, proper fit, and missing components.
- Identify, report, and help resolve quality issues to ensure product compliance.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Meet daily production quotas while maintaining quality and efficiency standards.
- Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and PPE requirements.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to maintain production flow and achieve operational goals.
- Perform additional production and assembly tasks as assigned.
