The ideal candidate will have some previous experience operating machinery, strong mechanical aptitude and a good work ethic; perfect for someone who wants to build on their existing experience and learn new technologies.
Experienced and junior operators with interests in mechanical, manufacturing or engineering, looking to build their knowledge need to apply for this one!
THE ROLE:- Set up and operate CNC machinery, loading parts, running established programmes and monitoring production to ensure safe and accurate output.
- Operate and support a range of manufacturing equipment, including vertical mills, large-scale 3D printers, vacuum forming, plate bending and sanding machinery.
- Work alongside the Production Manager and wider team, developing technical skills through hands-on training and progressing towards independent machine setup and batch production.
- Maintain a clean, organised and safe working environment while following established programmes and processes.
- Previous experience operating machinery in a machine shop, manufacturing or similar hands-on environment; CNC/milling experience would be beneficial.
- Experience with 3D printing or 3D modelling is highly desirable, alongside strong mechanical aptitude and an interest in learning new technologies.
- Strong attention to detail, reliability and work ethic, with the ability to follow established processes accurately.
- Proactive and keen to develop technically; CAD/Fusion 360 experience would be advantageous but is not essential, with training available for the right candidate.
