Spotlight Staff is seeking experienced and dependable Welders for our growing clients. The ideal candidate will have hands-on welding experience, a strong understanding of fabrication and safety procedures, and the ability to produce quality welds in a fast-paced industrial environment.

Candidates should be comfortable working independently and as part of a team while maintaining high standards for quality, productivity, and workplace safety.

• Perform welding using MIG (GMAW), Stick (SMAW), and/or other welding processes as required

• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, measurements, and work instructions

• Set up welding equipment according to job specifications

• Weld, fit, and fabricate metal components and assemblies

• Inspect completed welds for quality, accuracy, and proper penetration

• Use grinders, cutting tools, measuring devices, and other fabrication equipment

• Prepare metal surfaces by cleaning, grinding, cutting, or fitting materials

• Identify defects and make necessary repairs or adjustments

• Maintain welding equipment and keep the work area clean and organized

• Follow all company safety procedures and wear required PPE

• Meet production and quality expectations

• Perform additional duties as assigned

• Previous welding experience in a manufacturing, industrial, construction, or fabrication environment preferred

• Experience with MIG and/or Stick welding

• Ability to read a tape measure and use basic measuring tools

• Ability to read and understand blueprints or fabrication drawings

• Knowledge of welding techniques, equipment, and safety practices

• Ability to pass a weld test, if required by the client

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality

• Dependable attendance and reliable transportation

• Ability to work in a fast-paced industrial environment

• Ability to stand for extended periods

• Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, reach, and work in various positions

• Ability to lift and move materials as required by the position

• Comfortable working around heat, sparks, noise, machinery, and other typical industrial conditions

• Ability to wear required personal protective equipment
