Lead all maintenance, facilities and reliability activities within a high-volume automotive manufacturing facility, ensuring safe, efficient and uninterrupted production.
Key responsibilities:- Lead maintenance supervisors, technicians and skilled trades teams.
- Develop preventive, predictive and reliability-centred maintenance strategies to maximise equipment uptime and OEE.
- Troubleshoot equipment failures, conduct root-cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
- Lead capital projects, equipment installations, facility upgrades and automation initiatives.
- Manage maintenance budgets, contractors, spare parts and resources.
- Drive continuous improvement, lean manufacturing, reliability and cost-reduction initiatives.
- Work closely with Operations, Engineering, Quality and Supply Chain to support production targets.
- High-volume manufacturing and maintenance team leadership experience.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic and automated systems.
- Experience with preventive/predictive maintenance, PLCs, robotics and automation.
- Automotive manufacturing experience preferred, particularly injection moulding, painting, plating or assembly.
- Experience with CMMS, capital projects and maintenance budgets is advantageous.
