Job Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Long Term Acute Care (LTAC) night shift position requiring a TN or compact RN license and recent specialty experience.
Responsibilities- Work in a Long Term Acute Care (LTAC) hospital setting
- Assigned to the Chronic 3 unit
- Night shift schedule from 18:30 to 07:00
- 13-week contract assignment
- Responsibilities include providing care to chronically and acutely ill patients in an LTAC setting
- Staff are required to use an electronic timekeeping system for clocking in and out
- Candidates must reside at least 50 miles from the facility to qualify for travel status
- All timekeeping, floating, and call-in policies must be followed as outlined by facility guidelines
- Certification renewals must be completed prior to assignment start date
- Active TN or compact RN license required at time of consideration
- Minimum of 2 years recent experience in LTAC or relevant specialty
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications required; certifications must not expire within 30 days of start and RCIS or RQI certifications are not accepted
- No gaps in work history of 90 days or more in the past 12 months
- Full US Social Security Number required for consideration
- Candidates must not be currently employed in any permanent position within the same health system
