Schedule:

10-16 hour shifts on weeknights/weekends;
Day shift required;
Weekend on-call preferred;
As needed and holiday coverage preferred;
Overtime not expected but offered
Job Setting:  Hospital System with 18 anesthesia rooms;
Paper charting system
Types of Cases:  General, Neuro, Ortho
Credentialing:  45 days estimated privileging timeframe;
Emergency privileges available (under 30 days)
Assignment Duration:  30 weeks

Compensation:  Lodging stipend $117/daily;
Car rental/mileage stipend $250/week

Minimum Requirements

Certifications:

CRNA:
Certified or recertified by the AAA Council on Certification of Nurse Anesthetists
Licensure:  Current license as a registered professional nurse;
Graduation from an accredited program of nurse anesthesia education;
Facility willing to accept candidates needing to obtain state license
Responsibilities   Pre-anesthesia assessment
Obtains and/or verifies patient consent
Discuss anesthetic options and risks with the patient
Induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia
Monitoring of the patient's physiological condition
Performance of clinical intervention as needed
